It appears from the report that in respect of the FIR registered at the instance of the petitioner, investigation has been completed and the charge sheet being Hura PS C.S. No. 109/22 dated 31.07.2022 under Sections 341/323/427/506/34 of the IPC has been filed against 8 persons.

There is prima facie evidence before this Court that the petitioner's grievance against the accused persons is confirmed.

In those circumstances, the Hura Police Station shall maintain strict vigil over the mining operation of the petitioner and shall render all and every assistance in case of any obstruction.

The petitioner seeks police protection since a physical assault on its employees is anticipated. The Hura Police Station, Purulia shall post armed police picket, at the cost of the petitioner for a period of one month from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report of the Hura Police Station, Purulia, dated 12.09.2022 is kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
