Mr. Tapan Kumar Dey ...for the petitioner Mr. Ayan Banerjee ...for the State The petitioner seeks consideration of her representations submitted before the concerned authority on May 16, 2017 and March 22, 2018 respectively. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land of the petitioner was acquired by the State respondents but no compensation was paid to the petitioner for the same. The representations submitted by the petitioner in this regard are yet to be considered. It is submitted on behalf of the respondents that the 4th respondent be directed to consider the representations of the petitioner in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner May 16, 2017 and March 22, 2018 respectively within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merit of the case and the authority shall be at liberty to deal with the representations submitted by the petitioner independently in accordance with law.

With the above observation and direction this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
