Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioners are aggrieved by the threat of the daughter, son-in-law and grandson and it has been alleged that the petitioners have been thrown out from their property.

State has submitted a report. Report has issues regarding the properties concerned, but so far as the threat and harassment are concerned, there are some corroborating materials.

Consequently, police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Sections 126/135(4) of BNSS. I have considered the nature of the accusations. Petitioners be well advised to approach the Maintenance Tribunal under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. If specific directions are passed on primary materials, so far as the issue relating to the properties are concerned, in that case, police authorities would definitely assist the petitioners.

In the meantime, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no further incident of harassment, assault or torture is inflicted upon the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 19849 of 2025 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
