1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. None appears for the private respondents.

2. The petitioner alleges that the objection filed before the Station Manager, Dainhat CCC, WBSEDCL objecting to the illegal extraction of ground water through submersible pump by the private respondents is pending consideration.

3. Learned advocate representing the Distribution Company Limited submits, upon instruction that, a joint inspection was conducted in the presence of the petitioner and the private respondents and a hearing will be conducted shortly and final order will be passed.

4. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Station Manager, Dainhat CCC to conduct the hearing and conclude the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order at the earliest preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
