The writ petition can be disposed of on the basis of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner who is one of the requisitionists for removing the Pradhan and Upa-Pradhan of the concerned Gram Panchayat and learned counsel appearing for the Prescribed Authority with a direction to the latter to hold the meeting on 28th December, 2021 at 11 AM. This date and time would appear from the communication issued by the

Prescribed Authority on 20th December, 2021 and is a part of record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for sufficient police assistance. The petitioner will be entitled to such assistance as may be provided in law.

Similarly, the meeting for removal of the Upa-Pradhan may be held on 28th December, 2021 at 2 PM as indicated in the Notice of the Prescribed Authority.

WPA 20846 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
