It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 52 days. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner attempted to murder his wife by forcing her to consume poison. Medical document also supports such allegation. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected in August, 2022. Investigation is still in progress. Under such circumstances, we find no reason to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
