It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the compensation awarded by the respondent authorities is inadequate and the petitioner seeks revisiting of the same.

Mr. De. learned advocate appearing for the State submits that it will be evident from the letter dated 29th September, 2016 (being Annexure P/3 at page 33) that the petitioner was fully aware of the award passed in the subject acquisition proceedings and has also accepted the same award.

Mr. Bhattacharyya, appearing on behalf of the respondent No. 5 submits that the instant writ petition is not maintainable.

In view of the acquiescence on the part of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy which the petitioner has chosen not to avail, the instant writ petition is not maintainable.

Accordingly, W.P.A. 18397 of 2019 is dismissed as not maintainable.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
