This is an application for bail on behalf of the petitioners.

It is admitted by the Learned Advocate for the petitioners that they are Bangladeshi nationals. They illegally entered into the jurisdiction of Indian territory. Therefore this Court is not in a position to grant them bail.

It is submitted by the Learned Advocate for the State that charge-sheet has already been submitted in connection with Sundarban Coastal Police Station Case No. 116/2022 against the petitioners under Section 14 of the Foreigner's Act.

In view of such circumstances, the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore is directed to take cognizance against the accused persons on the basis of the charge-sheet and to proceed with the trial without further delay.

The instant application is, thus, disposed of.
