The petitioner seeks modification of the bail condition imposed upon him vide order dated 25th June, 2024 passed by the learned Judge, 2nd Special Court, Calcutta in Criminal Misc. Case No.97 of 2024. It appears that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by the learned Judge on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- with one registered surety and on furnishing bank security in the form of fixed deposit made in State Bank of India, Burrabazar Branch to the tune of Rs.10,00,000/- Considering the fact that the petitioner is unable to comply with the condition imposed upon him by the learned Judge insofar as the bank security was directed to be furnished to the tune of Rs.10,00,000/-, the order impugned is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall furnish bank security in the form of fixed deposit with the State Bank of India, Burrabazar Branch to the tune of

Rs.8,00,000/-. The remaining portion of the order shall remain unaltered.

The petitioner shall surrender and obtain regular bail within two weeks from the date of the order. In view of the above, the revisional application being CRR 3430 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
