The petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Golf Green Police Station in complying with the directions dated 1st November, 2021 of the Senior Municipal Magistrate, Kolkata in Case No. 83278 of 2013.

Golf Green Police Station is directed to investigate the involvement of Achinta Ghosh into the offence punishable under Sections 401A/392 read with Sections 584/610 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that the order of the Magistrate has been stayed by the learned Sessions Judge.

This Court is of the view that Golf Green Police Station shall take steps in terms of any directions that may passed by the Sessions Court.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
