1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. Considering the statement of the eyewitness directly implicating the petitioner of physical assault on the victim and the victim had died due to multiple injuries as revealed from the post-mortem report, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Moreover, we record that one of the co-accused standing on the same footing, namely, Sekhar Nath Pradhan alias Sanjib Pradhan, whose anticipatory bail was rejected on 12.08.2024 in CRM (A) 2745 of 2024.

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the same is accordingly disposed of.
