Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties.

Petitioner has file this writ petition being aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent police authority concerned in acting on the basis of his complaint dated 25th June, 2022 being annexure P/10 to the writ petition.

Mr. Ganguli, learned advocate representing the respondent Police authority submits that on the basis of the aforesaid complaint the police authority have already taken steps and in this regard he has filed relevant documents including the instruction issued by local police authority, dated 5th September, 2023 which may be kept with the record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, submission of the parties and the

documents submitted by Mr. Ganguli, no relief can be granted to the petitioner except directing the respondent police authority concerned to act in the matter in accordance with law.

With this observation and direction this writ petition being WPA 19786 of 2023 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
