Mr. Salil Kumar Maiti ... for the petitioner The only relief sought for by the petitioner is for a direction on the Collector, Purba Medinapore to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 8th November, 2021 for eviction of unauthorized occupants on the land belonging to the State under the provisions of The West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1962. The State is not represented today even though counsel had appeared for the State on 1st April, 2022. WPA 20881 of 2021 is disposed of with a direction on the respondent no. 2 being the District Magistrate & Collector, Purba Midnapore, to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 8th November, 2021 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date of communication of this order after hearing the petitioner. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made

available to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing such order. The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondents within seven days from today.
