Perused the case diary.

It appears that the petitioners and others assaulted the prime victim. When the two other relatives of the victim came to rescue him, they are also totally assaulted. One of the victims received injuries on scalp and face with bamboo stick causing serious injuries. A victim had to be admitted in the hospital.

A co-accused was granted anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court as she was a lady, as per the learned counsel for the State. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary and the alleged roles ascribed to the present petitioners, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
