Mr. Sandip Punda ...for the petitioners Mr. Debjit Mukherjee, Ms. Susmita Chatterjee ...for the State The grievance of the petitioners is directed against an unauthorized construction on the subject premises.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that notwithstanding the representation dated August 18, 2022, the respondent no. 6, has taken no steps to dispose of the representation dated August 18, 2022.

On behalf of the State respondents it is submitted that they have no objection if the respondent no. 6 is directed to consider and dispose of the above representation within a fixed time period.

In view of the above, W.P.A. No.20196 of 2022 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 6 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated August 18, 2022 within a

period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving due notices to all concerned.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the matter and the respondent no. 6 is to act strictly in accordance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
