The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of subject Physics at Satgachia High School (H.S.), Kalna, District - Purba Burdwan, she applied for general transfer under the 'Utsashree Portal' on the ground that the distance between her residence and the school since is more than 86 kilometres, she is unable to look after her dependant family members, her such application was rejected from the end of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Burdwan, the respondent no. 4 herein, on the ground that the petitioner is not coming within 10% of the teaching staff of the school.

Mr. Lahiri, learned advocate for the petitioner strenuously argues that the ground of rejection is not sustainable. Be that as it may, the 'Utsashree Portal' is now under suspension, as such the prayer of the petitioner for general transfer cannot be considered at this stage.

W.P.A. 20218 of 2022 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
