It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner appeared in BA Part -I and II examinations but could not clear the Education Paper in BA Part - II examination. The petitioner's registration in the University is of 2009 and hence the petitioner was eligible to appear for the said examination till ten years from the date of registration which is till 2019

as per Notification No. CSR/ 27/13 of the University dated 16th September, 2013.

The only question which arises in the present writ petition is whether the petitioner's claim of having appeared in the examination on 16th December, 2020 is a credible claim. The relevant document is a typed document without any endorsement from the College or the University. The Roll Number is the same as the Roll Number given to the petitioner in 2019. Besides, the petitioner's representation dated 3rd April, 2021 makes it clear that the petitioner did not appear for the 2020 examination.

Considering the Rule of the University of making ten years the maximum window for a candidate to appear in an examination or for reevaluation, this Court is powerless to grant any relief to the petitioner.

WPA 20926 of 2021 is accordingly dismissed without any order as to costs.
