Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent KMDA/respondent No. 3 in providing domestic connection of water to the petitioner.

It appears from record that the aforesaid authority has issued a letter on 17th February, 2023 being annexure P/3 to the writ petition on perusal of which it appears that the aforesaid respondent is ready and willing to provide the connection subject to compliance of all necessary procedures laid down by the authority but aforesaid authority does not disclose what are the formalities which are to be complied by the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 19875 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 3 to inform the petitioner with regard to the formalities which are required to be complied by the petitioner for the aforesaid purpose within seven working days from the date of communication of this order and if petitioner complies those formalities, the petitioner shall be provided domestic water connection within four weeks from the date of such compliance by the petitioner.
