The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of Baduria Police Station on a complaint lodged against the private respondents.

The report of Baduria Police Station dated 19th September, 2022 in the form of instructions addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta be taken on record.

It appears therefrom that FIR No. 564 of 2021 dated 21st September, 2021 has been registered and charge-sheet being C.S. No. 652 of 2021 dated 31st October, 2021 has also been filed. Further, Police Station Case No.579 of 2021 dated 24th September, 2021 has been registered against the petitioner's husband. It appears therefrom that the said FIR has resulted in charge-sheet. It also appears therefrom that the said FIR has been lodged against one Rabiul Islam.

There are complaints by the petitioner and the private respondents. Counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that the petitioner's complaint is in retaliation to the proceedings taken out by the licensee against the petitioner for theft of electricity.

This Court does not find any inaction on the part of Baduria Police Station.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of without any further order.

There will be no order as to costs.
