Ms. Chaitali Mondal ..for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant no.22 praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 8th Court at Alipore to dispose of the Title Suit No. 73 of 1974 expeditiously. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties.

However, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing them before the learned trial judge. From the order dated 4th May, 2024 this Court finds that the regular presiding officer was transferred and for such reason hearing of the suit was adjourned. C.O. 2923 of 2024 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 8th Court at Alipore to make an endeavour to see that the Title Suit No. 73 of 1974 is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary

adjournments to either of the parties if the suit is otherwise ready for hearing.

No order as to costs.
