As regards the provisional timetable published vide notice dated May 31, 2022, the Regional Transport Authority, Malda had called for objections, if any, to be raised by the concerned persons, vide a letter dated June 16, 2022.

The petitioners' grievance is with regard to the authorities' inaction in considering their objections, so submitted before the office, pursuant to such invitation to file objections.

Mr. N.I. Khan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks that the respondent authority should immediately consider and dispose of the two objections of the petitioners dated June 21, 2022 and June 20, 2022.

Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State and rests the matter at the discretion of the Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is being disposed of by directing the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Malda/respondent no. 4 to immediately consider the objections dated June 22, 2022 and June 20, 2022 as mentioned above and submitted before it by the petitioner, pursuant to its letter dated June 16, 2022. It shall dispose of the same by dint of a reasoned order and after granting adequate and sufficient opportunity to the petitioners as well as all the other stake holders for hearing in this regard. 7.

The entire exercise as above shall be concluded by the respondent no. 4 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order. 8.

Since no affidavits are called for, allegations made in the writ petition, are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

This writ petition being WPA No. 20546 of 2024 is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
