The petitioner prays for consideration of her representation dated June 16, 2022. The case in the writ petition is that the father of the writ petitioner was a permanent employee of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution company Limited (in shot, "WBSEDCL"). The petitioner's father died-in-harness on August 14, 2011. The petitioner initially applied for a post which required a certificate in computer course. Since the petitioner did not have the requisite certificate, her application for compassionate appointment was refused on January 6, 2020 even though she completed her Masters in English from Rabindra Bharati University in 2015. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for the post of clerk or any other

suitable post, which did not require a certificate in computer course.

After considering the rival submissions of the parties and materials placed on record, this Court is of the view that the representation of the petitioner dated June 16, 2022 should be considered by the respondent no.4 within 8 weeks from date upon giving a personal hearing to the petitioner. A reasoned decision should be communicated within 2 weeks thereof.

With the directions aforesaid, the writ petition, being WPA 20272 of 2022, is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been invited in the present writ petition, all the allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the parties.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
