The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that private respondents who are son and daughter-in-law of a deceased son are torturing her. It is further submitted that notwithstanding complaint lodged no steps have been taken by the police.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 4th January 2022 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Haroa Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that a complaint was lodged and charge sheet has been submitted against the private respondents being Haroa Police Station Case No.265/21 dated 26th June under Sections 448/354/427/468/506/34 of the IPC and Haroa Police

Station Charge Sheet No.218/21 dated 29th June 2021 under Sections 323/34 of the IPC and 24 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petitioner does not want her grand son and daughterin-law to be evicted from the said premises and only wants to live peacefully thereat.

Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that they have never tortured the writ petitioner and they will continue to take care of her. The instant writ petition has been filed at the instance of an aunt of the private respondents who is trying to evict the petitioner from the said premises.

In view of the undertaking of the writ petitioner and the private respondents, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Officer-in-charge, Haroa Police Station shall, however, attain to any complaint from the writ petitioner as regards any disturbance from any corner.
