The petitioner has alleged that the selection of the respondent no. 17 as an Asha Karmee was bad in law. The petitioner has reason to believe that the petitioner had higher academic score than the respondent no. 17. The petitioner submits that the selection process involved 80% weightage to academic qualification and 20% to interview. Thus she claims engagement as an Asha Karkmee.

There are no documents on record to show that the respondent no. 17 had a lower academic score than the petitioner. The writ petition has been filed without any supporting documents.

The learned advocate for the State respondents has filed a score sheet which indicates that the total marks including the academic score and the score at

the interview of the petitioner was 52.83 and the score of the respondent no. 17 was 53.28. A copy of the merit list/score sheet is taken on record. The petitioner is an unsuccessful candidate.

The petitioner has not been able to show any mala fide, arbitrariness or illegality in the selection process. There are no allegations of bias. It is just the assumption of the petitioner based on personal assessment of her capabilities that she was a better candidate than the respondent no. 17. The writ court cannot go beyond the score sheet. There is nothing on record to show that the selection process was vitiated in any way.

Under such circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed without any orders.

A copy of the merit list/score sheet be handed over to the learned Advocate for the petitioner. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
