An application being CRAN 4 of 2023 has been preferred in connection with the revisional application. The same is in the nature of a joint compromise petition affirmed by the accused persons as well as the complainant. However, I do not find any memorandum of understanding or any document being enclosed except the narrations made in the joint compromise petition. Learned advocate for the complainant/opposite party submits that they do not intend to pursue the complaint before the learned trial court. Having considered the same, I grant liberty to the complainant to file an application for non-prosecution before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 8th Court, Calcutta. So far as the revisional application is concerned, in view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the complainant, the merits need not be gone into.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 2655 of 2021 is disposed of as infructuous. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
