Siddiqui Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee Mr. Amrit Lal Chatterjee ... ... for the State The case set up in the present public interest petition is that earlier at village Amratala under Gurgram Gram Panchayat, Bhagwanpur-I Block a ration dealer was appointed and Fair Price Ration shop was started but later on the same was cancelled and applications were invited for engagement of another ration dealer at Amratala. In the meanwhile the ration shop was sought to be shifted from Amratala to Garbehara Saradamoyee Janakalayan Sangha. Hence, the petitioners had filed the representation dated 16th August, 2022 to the respondent no.3, District Controller (F & S) but the said representation has not been decided till now. A prayer has been made seeking a direction to the respondent no.3 to decide the said representation. Prayer is not opposed by the learned counsel for the respondents.

Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.3 to take an appropriate decision on the petitioners' representation dated 16th August, 2022

after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner no.1 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
