The writ petition is disposed of directing the Executive Engineer, Tamluk Division, Public Health Engineering Directorate to ensure that while the project is ongoing, the structural stability of the houses of the writ petitioners which are adjacent to the project, should not be compromised in any way. Although, it is submitted before this court that the authority had taken care of the technical aspect with regard to the safety and security of the surrounding houses, this court directs that at every stage of the execution of the project, the safety norms should be maintained and the structural stability of the houses of the petitioners should be protected. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
