The writ petitioners who are Sebaits of a deity are aggrieved that the private respondents are interfering with the peaceful possession of its property. The petitioners have filed a civil suit before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur being T.S. No. 109 of 2021. The Civil Court has ordered injunction. Notwithstanding, the private respondents continue to interfere with the petitioners' possession and thereby violate the order. The petitioner has lodged a complaint with the Ghatal Police Station and also with the S.P., Paschim Medinipur.

In that view of the matter, the Officer-in-Charge, Ghatal Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the petitioners' premises and the

private respondents do not harass the petitioners or interfere with the possession of their property. The Officer-in-Charge, Ghatal Police Station shall also deploy a police picket outside the petitioners' premises at the petitioners' own cost for a period of 10 days.

The aforesaid order shall not prevent the petitioners from taking steps under Order 39 Rule 2(a) of the CPC, if the need arises.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
