The petitioner alleges an unauthorised construction at the behest of respondent nos. 6 to 8 at premises no.7/1/A, Vivekananda Road, P.S. Baranagar, Ward no.8, Baranagar Municipality, Kolkata-700035.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that against such unauthorised construction, he made a representation before Baranagar Municipality on May 25, 2023. The Municipality, however, did not take any steps following the representation made by the petitioner.

In the aforesaid facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon Baranagar Municipality to consider the representation appearing at page 20 of the writ petition in accordance with law within a period

of three months from the date of communication of this order.

The Municipality shall hear all concerned before arriving at a decision.

Accordingly, WPA 19975 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
