Dr. S.K.Patra ... for the WBCSSC The matter relates to appointment in the post of Assistant Teacher in the upper primary section in Government aided recognised high school. Petitioners participated in the selection process as it has been submitted by Mr. Arefin, learned advocate representing the petitioners. However, subsequently the panel prepared for selection of candidates for appointment in the posts in upper primary section has been cancelled as it has also been submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioners. It is contended that in view of cancellation of panel nothing remains to be decided in the writ petition and the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of such submission being made on behalf of the petitioners the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
