Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 141 days. Charge-sheet was filed and therefore, further detention is not required. Petitioner is sought to be implicated on the basis of the statement of the co-accused.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the Case Diary including the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein as appearing from the materials in the case diary we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. 8879 of 2021 is dismissed.
