1. Petitioner is in custody for more than 6 years. He contends that there is delay in trial. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State submits that bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier in July, 2022.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits in July, 2022. By the said order trial Court was requested to conclude the trial within a year from the next date fixed for recording evidence. It appears the order was brought to the notice of the trial Court in December, 2022 and one year has not expired since then.

4. Under such circumstances, we are of the considered opinion the bail prayer of the petitioner on the ground of delay is premature and accordingly rejected.
