It appears from the submission made on behalf of all the parties that the present writ petition can be disposed of in line with the order passed by the Hon'ble PIL Bench on 04.01.2024 in WPA 14187 of 2018 with CAN 1 of 2022, CAN 3 of 2023 and CAN 4 of 2023 (Paschim Bangal Vigyan Mancha & Anr -vs- Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal & Ors.).

The Additional DM and the District Land and Land Reforms Officer is directed to take steps to decide the issue in accordance with law within the time limit stipulated by the Hon'ble Division Bench.

The writ petition is disposed of.

The Municipality shall take necessary consequential steps in the matter upon final order passed by the ADM and District Land and Land Reforms Officer.
