The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction by the Special Investigation Team, formed on the directions of this Court, by the Superintendent of Police, Malda in respect of Chanchal Police Station Case No. 879 of 2021 dated 8th October, 2021 under Sections 304A/34 of the IPC.

The Special Investigation Team has completed investigation and has filed FRMF No. 976 of 2022 dated 16.09.2022. It appears that Police have also found no intimidation to the petitioner to withdraw the case. It also appears from the police report that there are two charge sheets pending against the petitioner.

The writ petitioner may take steps in respect of the aforesaid FRMF in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of, with aforesaid observations.

There will be no order as to costs.
