Arunava Bhunia v. Amalendu Giri
08.07.2022 Ct. No. 32 rrc CPAN 1116 of 2019 in WPA 8440 of 2019 (Arunava Bhunia Vs. Amalendu Giri) Mr. Sumanta Chakraborty Mr. Santu Das Adhikary .... For the applicant Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept on record.
The present contempt application has been preferred challenging an order dated 8th July, 2019 passed in the writ petition being W.P. 8440 (W) of 2019 (new number W.P.A. 8440 of 2019).
Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of communication of the order passed by this Court, no steps have been taken by the respondents. His arrear salary has also not been disbursed till date in spite of submission of repeated representations.
It appears from the order dated 8th July, 2019 that this Court directed the petitioner to submit a fresh representation ventilating his grievances to the respondent no. 8, within a period of two weeks from the date of the order. Admittedly, no such representation was submitted by the petitioner within the time, as specified, in the order dated 8th July, 2019.
In view thereof, the petitioner's allegation that there had been a deliberate violation of the order passed by this Court, is not acceptable.
Accordingly, the contempt application is dismissed. (Tapabrata Chakraborty, J.)
