G.P., Mr. Suddhadev Adak ...for the State/respondents Mr. Kallol Mondal, Mr. Krishan Ray ...for the respondent no.3/SLSA The Officer-in-Charge, Panchla Police Station has filed a detailed report dated 21.02.2022, which is enclosed herewith. A large number of FIRs and Charge sheets have been filed against the petitioner at the instance of the private respondents. Photographs of the residence of the petitioner have also been annexed to indicate that the house is intact.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the house of the petitioner has been looted.

In that view of the matter, the Officer-inCharge, Panchla Police Station shall investigate into the complaints filed by the petitioner and his family members, and file a final report before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of 45 days from date. Copies of the final report shall be made available to the counsel for the petitioner.

The prayer for compensation, made by the petitioner, may not be considered at this stage. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

In view of the above order, RVW 170 of 2021, along with the connected applications shall also stand disposed of.

The report of the Panchla Police Station may be taken on record.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
