The representation which was furnished by the petitioner was more than a year ago regarding his threat perception. To that effect a report has been submitted on behalf of the State which is also of August 2023. Although the report reflects that there is no threat perception but having regard to the passage of time which has passed in the meantime, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the concerned authorities. The concerned authorities would consider the representation and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 45 days from the date of filing of the representation.

Report submitted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, DIB, Surdarban Police District is kept with the records.

With the above observations, WPA 20046 of 2023 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
