It appears from the records annexed to the writ petition that for redressal of their grievance raised in this writ petition, the petitioners have already made a representation before the respondent authority concerned on 1st August, 2023, being Annexure P-3 to the writ petition, which is still pending according to the petitioners.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 20048 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the Block Development Officer, Jalangi

Block/respondent no.5 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioners in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their authorized representatives, within four weeks from the date of communication of this order and to communicate the decision to be taken by the respondent authority within two weeks from the date of taking such decision.
