Zosif Hossain Gazi ...for the Petitioner Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being Special Case No. 105 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge (POCSO), Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the petitioner is in custody since July 04, 2023. Though charge sheet has been submitted on September 30, 2023, charge has not been framed as yet. In view of the fact that the petitioner is in custody for considerable period of time, the learned Trial Court is directed to consider framing of charge on the next date fixed by him. If it is not possible to consider framing of charge on the next date, the same shall be considered within one month from the said date. The learned Trial Court shall make all endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two years from the

date on which charge is framed, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party, in accordance with law. CRR No. 3472 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
