He is aggrieved as his name did not figure in the list of selected candidates.

From the report filed by the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education dated 11th February, 2022, it appears that the petitioner scored 26.696 marks whereas the last empanelled candidate in the General category (UnReserved) scored 28.950 marks. As it appears that the petitioner scored less marks than the last empanelled candidate, accordingly, his name could not be listed in the list of selected candidates. No relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
