Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is no progress at the trial. He highlights the period of detention of the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner will not seek any adjournments on any ground whatsoever including a resolution of the Bar Association. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that commercial quantity of narcotic was seized from the possession of the petitioner. Thereafter, another commercial quantity was seized from the house of the petitioner. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of narcotic was seized from the possession of the petitioner, we are of the view that the petitioner is unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985. Consequently, prayer for bail is rejected.

The Court in seisin of the case will take into consideration the submission made on behalf of the

petitioner that no adjournment will be prayed on behalf of the petitioner in any circumstances including a resolution of the Bar Association.

CRM 8910 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
