The allegation of the petitioner is that the police authorities have not taken any steps excepting registering a First Information Report, being No. 116 of 2024 dated April 21, 2024. It is not in dispute that the charge sheet has already been filed. In view thereof, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps before the competent Magistrate, in case the petitioner is not satisfied with the charge sheet filed before the competent court.

As prayed for by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, leave is granted to the learned Advocate on Record of the petitioner to mask the name of the petitioner and other particulars of the writ petitioner in the cause title of the writ petition. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
