Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was in a different place at the time of the incident.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report and the contents in the case diary. She submits that kerosene oil was poured over the victim and that the victim was beaten up. The local people rescued the victim before she was set on fire. Considering the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein and the contents if the medical report, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM 8916 of 2021 is rejected.
