Counsel for the petitioner submits that the Command Hospital has found that the petitioner has no squint. There is, however, no report available before this Court.

The petitioner relies upon reports of three several Government Hospitals, one of which says that the petitioner does not have any "manifest squint". Each of the Government Hospital certified that the petitioner's vision is perfectly fine.

Review Medical Examination (RME) of the SSC has clearly found a squint in the petitioner's right eye and the same constitutes a bar in recruitment.

However, for the ends of justice, the matter is remanded back. RME of the SSC and/or the CAPF to examine the petitioner afresh for the purpose of ascertaining whether there is a squint in the petitioner's right eye and whether the degree of squint is an

absolute bar in terms of their guidelines for recruiting the petitioner as a constable (GD).

Let the aforesaid exercise be completed by the respondents within a period of 10 days from date.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
