Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 14 months. The police filed charge sheet and, therefore, continued detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner along with the co-accused was accosted with the murdered weapon and that the petitioner and the co-accused made a confession to another person with regard to the murder.

Considering the materials in the case diary, gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM 8935 of 2021 is dismissed.
