Seen the solemn order of the Hon'ble Court dated 24.12.2021.

The Hon'ble Court vide its solemn order dated 24.12.2021 has been pleased to pass the following order, inter alia :

"..........The learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to deposit the deficit Court fees in the course of this day. In default, the order passed herein shall be restricted only in respect of the petitioner no.1 and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed in respect of the other." It appears from the office report that in compliance with the above direction of the Hon'ble Court dated 24.12.2021, a report was sought from the Filing & Caveat Section by the Section Officer, Mandamus Section through a notesheet dated 12.04.2022, to ascertain as to whether the deficit Court fees have been deposited or not.

In response to the above, Filing & Caveat Section has submitted a report in that regard on 12.04.2022. Perused the report of the Filing & Caveat Section dated 12.04.2022 wherein it appears that no such requisite has been filed from 24.12.2021 till date i.e. 12.04.2022. Under such circumstances, it appears that the span of time which was granted by the Hon'ble Court has already elapsed and no step has yet been taken by the petitioners as per direction of the Hon'ble Court dated 24.12.2021. Since, no deficit Court fees have been deposited by the petitioners in terms of the solemn order of the Hon'ble Court dated 24.012.2021, the writ petition stands dismissed in respect of petitioner no.2.
