Petitioner is in custody for more than three years. He prays for bail.

Learned lawyer for the State submits trial is at its fag end and date has been fixed for cross examination of defence witnesses. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. Victim has supported the allegation of penetrative sexual assault. Her credibility is to be assessed during trial. Trial is at its fag end. 4.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. 6.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
