Despite service, no one appears on behalf of the alleged victim. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

Perused the case diary.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim made before the learned Magistrate, her injury report and the statement of a neighbor, an immediate post-occurrence witness, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
