Perused the case diary.

The prosecution case appears to be that the accused abducted two businessmen, kept them confined and made them transfer money to the tune of Rs. 25 lakhs to the account of the present petitioner. The present petitioner, soon thereafter, took out Rs. 10 lakhs from the said account by a self-cheque and the money was distributed amongst all the accused.

It is also submitted on behalf of the State that subsequently by Court's order, the rest Rs. 15 lakhs was transferred from the account of the petitioner to the victim's account.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
