None appears for the State.

Mr. Sambuddha Dutta, learned Advocate, who usually appears for the State is present in Court today, is requested to appear in this matter for the State.

Let the appointment of Mr. Dutta be regularized by the Legal Remambrancer, High Court, Calcutta. The learned Advocate for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this writ petition upon Mr. Dutta, here and now.

The petitioner alleges that no steps have been taken by the police authorities pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, excepting registration of a First Information Report.

It appears from the record that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Shibpur

Police Station Case No. 328 of 2024, dated July 29, 2024 has been registered.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that in the meantime, charge sheet has already been submitted.

In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional court, if the petitioner aggrieved.

With the above observations and directions, the instant writ petition stand disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
